School Council
Great Dunmow Primary School
Our school council has representatives from each class from year one to year 6. Every September the classes nominate and then vote for their two representatives; these children represent the class for the year. They then appoint a secretary, treasurer and a chairman. They discuss a range of issues that have been raised in the classes at the class councils. Having discussed and voted on issues the decisions are then implemented. The school council has been involved in the development of the school menu tasting a range of sausages and giving their opinion on which they preferred.
