If it wasn't for the help and support of many of our parents these educational trips would certainly be a struggle, so a special thank you to those parents who joined us for the day.

We returned a little closer to home when the children investigated the wildlife within our pond area - the only problems was because it had been so dry (yes - we had some sun this year!) the depth of the pond was a little, well shall we say low!

Not too sure I want to know what is in that tray with Sam and Marc!!

Grace demonstrated how to used the 'bug viewer' whilst out with Ross from the Essex Wildlife Trust. The children were taken to the Newton Green area to investigate the mini-beasts within the area.
