HUGE THANKS :

To everybody involved in the Friends Committee for taking the time to organise this event, whether it was behind the scenes or out where you could be seen - your continued support is appreciated by all at Great Dunmow Primary School.

Thanks also to all the members of school staff who helped run stalls, feed the team beforehand, for setting up tables and chairs, tidying up and generally making this a fantastic day.

Thanks also to Mrs. Ruck for rallying the troops and keeping everyone on track.

And finally thanks to YOU! For your continued support to our school.

Well done to all team members and Miss. Johnson for a spectacular display of their talents. There will be a display of their achievements displayed within the school. Congratulations to each and every one of you.

.....Until the team brought people from the audience to join in!

Miss. Smith's Country Dance team showed us some of their newly learnt dance steps, and all went well..............

Our Foundation Stage Playground was taken over by an assortment of animals for the afternoon and everyone had the opportunity to get up close to these creatures. Special thanks to the team from Animal Magic.

We were joined by the Essex Choi Kwang-Do squad who performed some of their tactical moves.

Thanks to Ms O'Reilly for ensuring the Triathlon was once again a huge success.

Special thanks to those people who kindly allowed us to use their vehicles.

Two competitions were on offer, firstly the chance to win a Mini for the weekend courtesy of Elms at Stansted, secondly to get down and dirty with Andy Ruck and his beastly Land Rover in an off-road experience!

A selection of beautiful cars were on display - carefully guarded by Chris Ruck - who certainly took a shine to this one!

The welcome brew before the gates open - trust me,  there was no peace after that!!

Special thanks go to the local fire brigade crew and the ambulance crew who joined us to not only let the children set off the sirens and climb all over the vehicles but get togged up in fireman's kit too and generally have a load of fun - THANK YOU!
Whether it was plates being smashed or coconuts being knocked off their posts there was certainly a lot of noise down the far end of the field!

Eddie's Teddies once again offered to re-home unwanted teddies with donations going to the schools charity - Valerie Mulcare-Tivey's The Bombay Children's Charity. Thank you Edward!

Debbie Crosbie had once again been busy preparing to get everyone 'Wired Up!'

So too had Mrs. Lock with all of her beautiful craft accessories.

With the flowers in bloom and the stall holders ready it was time to open the gates to the 2011 Great Dunmow Primary School Summer Fayre.
