Goodbye Year 6, we are all so very proud of you. Continue to work hard but most importantly enjoy life....
Then those all important t-shirts were handed out by Mr. Martin Lee and Mrs. Penny Callingham from the school Governing Body.
Miss Foote (left) said farewell to her first class she ever taught at Great Dunmow Primary School, whilst Jordan (right) hopes that the flower will make up for the sleepless nights during the residential for Miss Smith!
The children then gave a rose to every member of staff within the school.
So now that nearly everyone was in floods of tears the time came for the children to present till parents and carers with a small token of love - the single stem rose with the all important words.
The Last Six Hours of Primary School.

Last six hours of primary school, Goodbye is getting near. The sums and sentences all done, the full stop day is here.

Last 5 days of primary school, where's everything before. The aims and games and crazes no one's crazy for no more.

Last four hours of primary school surrounded by a class, who'll scatter soon and not return when summer's days have passed.

Last three hours of primary school, one final lunchtime play, Instead of chasing friends we try to chase and catch the day.

Last two hours of primary school, the clock hands skid and blur. We laugh about the things we've done and all the things we are.

Last one hour of primary school with Miss who understood, and helped me see I could achieve 'cos she believed I could.

Last half hours of primary school the assembly we all dread, we can not sing - 'Us Year 6 Kings' - the crowns slip from our heads.

Last ever second of primary school. The full stop rings in our ears. But thousands of sentences left to write, we must vacate our childhood site. For time moves on and time is right - To leave our wonder years.

Although the tears had already started the children from Sycamore and Oak Tree Class joined us in the assembly hall for their last time.
